Harlequins players demonstrate the ‘Unique Ripstop’ construction of TM Lewin suits in a new campaign called ‘Born to Perform’.
The digital/social initiative is spearheaded by a video that aims to celebrate the ‘high performance’ partnership and features several stars from the London based Premier Rugby squad.
The online film is amplified and supported by content across the brand’s usual digital and social platforms,

This is part of a broader UK rugby led strategy which sees various parts of TM Lewin’s range promoted through its rugby club partnerships: including Wasps and its machine washable suits,
and Gloucester promoting its stretch shirts.
Comment:
It was back in May 2017 that TM Lewis and Harlequins frst announced an official supplier partnership that saw the UK-based tailor provide suits for Harlequins players, coaches and staff to be worn on matchdays and for any off-field appearances.
At the time of the deal, Harlequins’ Commercial Director Ned Wills said: “We are delighted to be partnering with T.M.Lewin, a national brand which is engrained in the history of fashion in England, as we are in rugby. Ensuring we have a professional look off the pitch is as important as our famous quarters are on it and T.M.Lewin offer a high quality formal-wear, which enables us to achieve this very goal.”
According to Wills: “T.M.Lewin reflects perfectly the amalgamation of heritage and innovation that we pride ourselves on at Harlequins. Like us, their roots are cemented here in London but both have an international appeal with mutual worldwide recognition. Partnering with T.M.Lewin is, literally, the perfect fit.”
While TM Lewin CEO Geoff Quinn added: “Like Harlequins, we have a rich and colourful heritage and we’re very much looking forward to sharing the Lewin experience with both players and fans. Seeing the squad out there wearing our suits will be a proud moment for the whole team. Partnering up with Harlequins was an easy decision for us as there will be a healthy crossover of customers, supporters and reciprocal benefits.
“After speaking to both the players and staff we decided to create a look that was not only contemporary and smart, but could also meet the team’s varied demands, such as the changing room or corporate events. The outfit we’ve created with Harlequins is a great blend of traditional formalwear and modern fit that allows the wearer to be both comfortable and professional.”
The deal ensures that the players and coaches wear suits that ensure the high standards of uniformity and professionalism are maintained across the club.
