Intersport Leverages Back To School In France Via New Football-Led ‘Offside’ Campaign

The end of August saw Intersport launch its latest French marketing campaign aimed at showing how practicing sport can change our lives for the better because of its emotional and social power to bring people together.

 

The campaign which leverages the ‘back to school’ period, introduces an optimistic new vision summarised by a new brand claim: “Sport, the most beautiful encounter”.

 

The initiative is spearheaded by a hero film, called ‘Offside’, which tells new beginning stories about people meeting through sport – specifically football.

 

The lead short film, which runs for 2 minutes and 50-seconds and which is set the music by J Cole, depicts a teenager reconnecting with people through football as they celebrate the magic of the game.

 

 

It is supported by shorter cut down versions running across online channels.

 

 

 


 

The film, which is amplified across the brand’s social media platforms,

 

 

sees Intersport aim to encourage younger generations to join a sport steam in order to develop a collective spirit.

 

The campaign was created for Intersport by a team from agency Marystone led by Creative Director Pierrette Diaz and the spot was helmed by director Vincent Lobelle through Iconoclast.

This Intersport initiative initiatives continues its mission of promoting sport in everybody’s life and builds on the brand’s football credentials.

 

Indeed, ever since 2017, Intersport has been the official distributor of the Football French Federation (FFF) and has had a long-time link to French football through its ongoing commitment to promoting sport in everybody’s life.
