The German sportswear giant showcased its upcoming ZX 10000 style in an inventive design collaboration with smash hit animated series The Simpsons in a new sneaker drop later in February.
The initial tease/reveal marketing phase was via the brand’s website and through a PR and influencer campaign focused on social and blogs amongst the sneakerhead community.
The next drop in the #AtoZX series pays homage to The Simpsons' beloved Krusty Burger.

The shoe’s design is inspired by the show’s iconic fast-food burger restaurant chain Krusty Burger (which famously boasts two of the most unhealthy burgers of all time: the Ribwitch and the Clogger).
The design references Simpsons-relevant themes ranging from the chains sesame bread to Krusty The Clowns signature green hair.
Fans of Adidas and of the iconic show can sign-up for a chance to buy ‘The Simpsons x Adidas ZX 10000 Krusty Burger’ collaboration via the Confirmed app from 12 February ahead of its scheduled 27 February launch.
The shoe will retail for $130.

This ZX 10000 collaboration is actually just one part of the Three Stripes’ A-ZX series: a 26-sneaker release celebrating the legacy of Adidas’ first running shoe franchise.
Each release represents a letter in the alphabet and this shoe represents the letter ‘K’.
This is part of adidas’ strategy of linking up with multiple cultural and entertainment brands, properties, designers and celebrities (including Meissen Porcelain Factory, Juventus and Lego) to expand its portfolio’s appeal to pop culture lovers.
