Adidas Ultraboost 21’s Audio-Visual Launch Created By TBWA & Sound-Tracked by Youth Mode

A creative collaboration between German sportswear giant Adidas, creative agency TBWA and production company Builders Club, with sound and audio design studio YOUTH MODE spearheaded the launch of the new Ultraboost 21 sneaker.

 

Described as an ‘orbiting visual and audio journey’, the creative used high-speed, dynamic cameras to express the explosive high-energy of UB21 and to focus on the product’s USP’s: its bounciness, responsiveness and its supportive engineered fabric.

 

The sneaker details – its boost sole, LEP & prime knit – were communicated through visceral visual and audio metaphors to tease the UB21 via a hyper-detailed 3d shoe and background environment designed to showcase ‘the harmonisation and power of its high-performance shoe’.

The campaign was created for Adidas by a joint team at creative agency TBWA and production studio Builders Club with music by YOUTH MODE where the Music Supervisor was Jack Derbyshire and the composer/Sound Designer was Ryan Gorringe.
