FC Barcelona partner Beko has released a unique competition and a new point-of-view film to enable fans to experience life walking in the football boots of Barca players.
The #Time2Play film is shot from the players’ perspective and enables supporters to see first-hand what it’s like to be up close and personal Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Gerard Piqué, Arda Turan, Ivan Rakitić and Marc-André ter Stegen.
It gives fans a taste of life on the training pitch at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, a chance to walk down the players’ tunnel at Camp Nou, to peer inside the players’ chapel, to face up against Ter Stegen to take a penalty and more.

The film, which is the latest instalment in Beko’s ‘Official Partner of Play’ campaign, also offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to win the chance to play at Camp Nou and to receive a coaching clinic with FC Barcelona coaches at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, plus to an exclusive guided tour of the stadium and museum, as well as the opportunity to travel on the team bus and get a complimentary FC Barcelona team kit.

This strand, as well as the wider ‘Official Partner Of Play’ campaign, is based upon FC Barcelona’s signature, skilful, attacking football philosophy: one played with freedom and enjoyment both on and off the pitch.
Barca’s idea is that the club’s style of play epitomises the true spirit of football.
The campaign’s PR links the activation to Beko’s brand commitment to ‘supporting people in their busy lives by providing faster, more efficient home appliances, giving them more time and freedom to play every day.
Beko, the global home appliance brand of Arçelik Group, is a Global Premium Partner of FC Barcelona.
Its four-year sponsorship deal with Barca was signed at the start of the 2014/15 season and runs until the end of 2017/18 season.
The worldwide partnership, which sees the Beko logo placed on the sleeve of the team’s kit, was first activated back in 2015 through an El Classico campaign called ‘Team Spirit Drives Change’’ (see case study).
