Calamvale Leopards Front Taubmans ‘In It Together’ Activating Brisbane Lions Sponsorship

The Australian paint brand Taubmans continued its mission to give back to the community through its ongoing ‘In It Together’ platform with new work celebrating its new partnership with Australian Football League (AFL) side Brisbane Lions that shines a spotlight on the community Calamvale Leopards Football Club.

 

The Taubmans initiative promotes its brand programme to give back to local clubs by helping out with what they know best – paint.

 

But instead of just donating paint, it is also bringing together a team of its own experts, employees and partners to work with local community to reinvigorate their clubs to bring to life the idea that ‘they are all in it together’.

 

The storytelling style campaign, created by agency Banter, is narrated by club president Darren Tsimpikas and spans TV, social and digital channels.

 

It is spearheaded by a hero film showcasing Taubmans community work around Brisbane led by a paint refresh of the local ‘Calamvale Leopards Football Club’ with help from a few Brisbane Lions super stars as well as the local Leopards community.

 

 

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work on such a major campaign for a brand like Taubmans, who have been ‘in it together’ for decades. It was truly amazing to see the smiles on the faces of players and club members, who deeply love their club,” said Banter Co-Founder Mitchell Loadsman. “This is just the start of an ongoing community program that will help Taubmans live out their brand purpose.”

 

Taubmans Marketing Manager Sarah Yap added : “Supporting our local communities is woven into the DNA of Taubmans and our people. Families and communities have come together at local clubs like the Calamvale Leopards for generations and we want to help protect and beautify these places where friendships form, dreams are made and memories are created for the future.”

 

The campaign was created for and briefed in by Taubmans Marketing Manager Sarah Yap by a team at creative agency Banter that included Co-Founders Mitchell Loadsman and Paul Den, Client Manager Uvani Appanna, Content Creative Aidan Lynch, with production handled by Teknique Films and the lead ad helmed by Director Brendan Lasker.
