Capri Loans Leverages Gujarat Titans Partnership & Fuels IPL ‘Dreams’ Of Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill & Kane Williamson

Capri Loans leveraged its sponsorship of IPL side Gujarat Titans to highlight its financial offerings through a player-fronted campaign called ‘Baat Sapno Ki Hai / It’s All About Dreams’ featuring a strong line-darawn from the current team including Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya and Kane Williamson.

 

Conceptualised and created by agency Salt Brand Solutions and produced by Picasso Cinematics, the campaign was spearheaded by a hero spot which sees Pandya tell Gill that he never thought they would win the tournament (referring to the ‘s team’s 2022 IPL triumph) to which Gill replies that the other team members had visualised winning with a trophy.

 

The commercial then closes with the cricketing trio stating that, in the end. it’s not about money, but about dreaming big. 

 

The ‘Baat Sapno Ki Hai’ film, which spanned TV and digital platforms, dropped on 5 April and included the copy: “Achieving your dreams is priceless, but having a little help along the way can make all the difference.”

 

 

The lead video was supporting social content which included a set of 10-second cut downs and a behind the scenes spot.

This campaign follows on from a previous, notable Gujarat Titans partner activation with Stepathlon which saw the current Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) Champions launch a fan engagement health & wellness initiative called ‘Race With The Titans’.

 

This activation aimed to encourage the fans to get healthier and fitter through an incentivised, competitive initiative which rewards fans for their progress through a programme based around the official Gujarat Titans ‘Titans Fam’ app – available on Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

 

This initiative set out to strengthen the relationship between team, players, fans and the brand and is an interactive experience designed to help fans achieve their fitness milestones with engaging contests – whereby they can compete with others virtually. These contests feature activities such as a 30-second push-up challenge, completing 10,000 steps a day for a week and sharing a picture of your workout with your friend. 

 

‘Race With the Titans’ was activated and promoted through Stepathlon and Titans official social media platforms and the most successful participants will be rewarded with prizes including ‘Meet and Greets’,  match tickets and signed merchandise.
