Colourful New Collaborative Dual Collection & Campaign Launch From LEGO X Adidas Alliance

Late February saw Adidas and LEGO team up again to launch two new full-colour clothing collections and promote them via a joint digital-first campaign running across both brands’ online platforms.

 

The joint initiative sees the two iconic companies present two new collections of clothing inspired by LEGO DOTS and LEGO NINJAGO for kids and young adults.

 

The latest collection and campaign launch follows on from the two companies’ previous partnership to build (brick by brick) a pair of playful limited edition pair of AZX800 sneakers back in September 2020.

 

 

The ongoing collaboration is a colourful pair of collections which will be officially available from 4 March.

 

The adidas x LEGO DOTS collection focuses on the creative potential of young children and invites them to express their personality, create their own style and show the world who they are. Designs convey a simple message to children: when they design, they set the rules of their world and can make it as vivid as they want.

 

The adidas X LEGO NINJAGO Collection celebrates the 10th anniversary of this LEGO play theme and the timeless world of classic NINJAGO.This line features vibrant designs that represent the elemental powers of NINJAGO and allows children to express themselves and be ninjas, which means: master ninja skills, be a good friend, confident, inclusive, and true to yourself. The details in the collection represent the mastery process, the process of becoming a ninja, and supporting children on their own journey.

 

 

Comment:

 

The insight and objective behind the collaboration, is, according to both companies, to ‘increase the fun in the lives of children and adults through garments, accessories and bricks’.
