ESPN Australia & New Zealand launched a marketing campaign called ‘We Got You’ at the start of October which highlights the benefits and features of the ESPN App and on its digital platforms.
‘We Got You’, which was created collaboration with multi-ARIA award winning hip-hop star Sampa Tembo (AKA Sampa the Great), showcases the breadth and depth of sports coverage and the range of product features available on the revamped ESPN App and ESPN.com.au in Australia and New Zealand.
The creative blends a contemporary and upbeat visual experience with music and lyrics which the Zambian/Botswanan musician now based in Melbourne created specifically for the campaign.
It positions ESPN as ‘the one-stop-shop for all sports fans’ by highlighting live streaming, scores, highlights, breaking news, podcasts, 30 for 30 Films and more and repeats the copy line: “Whatever the sport you love – We Got You.

ESPN’s digital platforms offer more than 20,000 hours of sports programming and reach around three million Australians each month: making it one of Australia’s most visited sports platforms.
The campaign launched to leverage the start of several new seasons in ESPN sport’s coverage including the 2021/22 NFL, NHL and NBA seasons and the MLB playoffs.
