Independent skiwear outfit Black Crows launched an integrated brand campaign in October titled ‘Pursuit Of Pleasure’ based featuring epic backdrops of snowy mountain tops and a stunning image montage that capture nature in all of its glory.
Conceived and created by Paris based agency Yorgo&Co and helmed by Director Luc Reso Janin, the creative offers a visual treat set to build anticipation and excitement amongst all skiers excited about the coming winter season and showcasing Black Crows’ collection of skis and outerwear.
The filmmaking in the hero spot showcases the motion and excitement of skiing with an emphasis on adventure as skiers weave and carve their way across the landscape and tackle the elements shooting on GoPros with enough camera trickery to result in a sweeping cinematic experience backed by an electronic, hypnotic score by Mattias Mimoun.
The 2-minute and 20-second hero spot and supporting ‘Pursuit Of Pleasure’ digital content was deployed across the brand’s digital and social channels from 11 October.
The films were helmed by Director Luc Rëso Janin through The Visionaries and produced by Camille Jaccoux, while the campaign was briefed in by Black Crows Creative Director Giorgio Saviane to creative agency Yorgo&Co and production company PVS with additional input from Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix, Skyway Monte Bianco and Jam VFX.

Black Crows is an independent French freeski brand founded in 2006 and founded in Chamonix by professional freeskiers Camille Jaccoux and Bruno Compagnet. The pair created the company out of ‘a desire to collide beauty and efficiency into skis’ through ‘uncompromising performance focused on contemporary skiing’. According to Black Crows, the brand and its community are united through a simple, pivotal common love for snow, mountains, and skiing.
