Ian Wright Promotes Speedflow Boots In Adidas UK’s ‘Master Of Speedfulness’ Social Campaign

Former England and Arsenal striker Ian Wright stars in a new social media campaign from Adidas UK called ‘Master Of Speedfulness’ which promotes the German sportswear brand’s new adidas’s X Speedflow boots.

 

Launched on 26 August, the legendary attacker turned football pundit fronts a new film in which he imparts his wisdom on how to achieve ‘speedfulness’. The yogi-style creative approach sees Wright player the role of the original ‘Master of Speedfulness’ and advises musician and comedian Specs Gonzalez and the viewers on how to achieve the ‘unique flow state of mind and body’.

 

Once Specs Gonzalez actually puts on adidas’s X Speedflow boots, he enters the realm of Speedfulness, before finally being brought back to earth by West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek and Aston Villa forward Alisha Lehmann.

 

 

A longer form Facebook spot sees Wright offer up a football terminology lesson via ASMR.

 

The campaign, which was created by agency M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, runs across the brand’s own digital and social platforms.

 

It was created by directed by Josh Cohen and produced by OB Management.
