With a week to go before the reworked 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon, the title sponsor rolled out a social activation strand based around brand ambassador and Olympic gold medalist Sir Mo Farah curating its latest #PeoplesPlaylist by sharing his own personal training playlist.
Promoted via a series of social posts across the brand’s channels and on the multiple Olympic champion’s person platforms, the creative seeks to drive runners to Spotify to access the playlist and use it for their final pre-marathon training sessions as the taper down.

With only one week to go until the Virgin Money #LondonMarathon, he's shared a training playlist that's nearly as fast-paced as he is! https://t.co/v1xbMfM4HN pic.twitter.com/6EXM3xavsf

If you are one of those participating in the virtual marathon and still doing some last minute training, we’d like to point out that this is a pretty fast-paced playlist.
