In late June and early July 2022 – leveraging The Championships, Wimbledon – The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) launched a bespoke new digital series exclusively for LTA Advantage members called ‘Inspired By’.
The LTA, the national governing body of tennis in Great Britain, piggybacked spiking tennis interest across the country around Wimbledon to drive memberships by promoting the benefits of its ‘LTA Advantage’ subscription service.
LTA Advantage gives members exclusive tennis-related benefits and content and the new video content series is a first for the Advantage platform.
The online series runs across the six week global tennis ‘grass court window’ and gives members exclusive access to top analyst and coaching talent from the world of professional tennis with a focus on tactical advice and tips to enable amateur players to improve their own grass court game.
In each weekly episode sees sports presenter Kate Mason joined by tennis experts from the LTA Performance team to break down the pros’ performances and offer advice and video coaching to improve amateur players’ own game.
The first three full episodes dropped on Advantage immediately prior to the start of Wimbledon, while the second half of the series rolled out through Wimbledon fortnight and the entire ‘Inspired By’ series was promoted across the LTA’s digital and social channels from 28 June with content that sought to drive viewers online and move them through the membership funnel.
