The marketing push leverages the retailer’s ongoing, umbrella ‘Eat Well, Play Well’ multiple partnership with the football associations of the home nations and rolling out hot-on-the-heels of England’s UEFA Euro 2022 victory, days before the start of the 2022/23 Premier League and ahead of the men’s team’s FIFA World Cup later in the year in Qatar.

M&S Food has partnered with the England, Scotland, CYMRU and the Northern Ireland national football teams for a multi-partnership programme aimed at using the power of football and the influence of some of the UK’s biggest footballing heroes to help families make healthier choices under the campaign banner ‘Eat Well, Play Well’. The initiative aims to leverage these official football alliances to make families healthier for the next generation and link the eating habits of footballing heroes to how they play in order to promote positive healthy eating messages to kids in a way that’s engaging, relatable and drives change.

This activation dropped on the same day that M&S was announced as the official clothing partner of England Football and its also follows on from M&S Food’s summer ‘Eat Well, Play Well Challenge’.
