Nike Korea urged women to ‘Choose Phenomenal’ through an empowering campaign for International Women’s Day.
The creative, developed in tandem with long-time agency Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo, is fronted by a team of Korean athletes and sportswomen, as well as entertainment celebrities, singers and K-Pop stars and aims to highlight the local woman who have ‘made their own choices in life’.
Launched on 8 March across television, digital and social,
the initiative’s objective is to showcase how sport empowers women to be phenomenal every day.
The campaign was created by a Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo team led by creative directors Storm Tharp and Jordi Luna and included art director Sol Oh, copywriters Andrew Miller and Jake Kim, account directors Rob Archibald and Becky Levy and account manager Liwon Kim.
The TV producer was Shoko Akutagawa and the print producer was Yoko Onodera.
