To promote and celebrate ‘Olympic Day 2020’, The Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI) – the National Olympic Committee of the island of Ireland – launched a social spot called ‘Behind The Dreams’ which tells the stories of five Team Ireland Olympic medalists. Each of them has a story – about when the seed of belief was sown, the person who stoked the fire, that moment when the dream became more real – and the film reveal what was behind their dreams. The video aims to inspire the next generation of talent and ends with the copy line: “That’s their story, what’s yours?”. Olympic Day, which in 2020 was on 23 June, is a celebration of sport, health and being the best you can be. It invites everyone around the globe to be active and commemorates the day the International Olympic Committee was founded in 1894.
