To mark the return of football fans to stadiums for live games in the UK, the Premier League and other UK sporting organisations worked with the Sports Technology and Innovation Group (a unit put together by the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to work with sport bodies to explore solutions to get fans back into venues through the whole fan journey from home to venue) and with agency FCB Inferno to launch a series of posters to explain how to stay safe.
The OOH campaign, called ‘For The Love Of Sport’, promotes the fan behavioural Code Of Conduct and its artwork plays on the feelings that people have while watching sports.
Linked by the ‘We’re Fan Ready’ tagline, the executions are led by copy which pairs fan feelings with a healthy and safety guideline such as ‘A Last Gasp Winner / Arrive Early’ and ‘Your Home Away From Home / Now Please Wash Your Hands’.

This initiative follows on from other FCB Inferno work for the Premier League including its June 2020 ‘Return To Football’ campaign which welcomed back the game after its 100-day pandemic hiatus and October 2019’s ‘No Room For Racism’.
