Premiership Rugby Title Sponsor Gallagher Launches Short Film ‘Rivals Together’ Leadership Series

Insurance broker Gallagher leveraged its status as the title partner of Premiership Rugby in Mid-March through a digital-first video series called ‘Rivals Together’.

Part of the ‘Gallagher Leadership’ series – an initiative launched earlier this year to better understand the challenges facing leaders in business and rugby as well as the importance of having a strong network of trusted advisers to keep performing at the top of your game – the digital and social series features some of the biggest stars in the Gallagher Premiership including Danny Care, Ben Earl, Freddie Burns and Beno Obano.

The three-part short film series is based around one-on-one conversations and provides both rugby fans and business leaders across the UK with the insider perspective on the realities of sports leadership through the personal perspectives of players who have participated in some of British rugby’s greatest rivalries.

As the title sponsor, Gallagher’s aimed to offer a set of authentic, candid player-to-player conversations about what leadership in rugby means and help viewers to tackle the future with confidence.

The campaign was initially teased across the brand’ sown channels from 15 March with a trailer.

Episode One ‘Learning From Experience’ launched on 17 March and sees Beno Obano and Dave Attwood discuss starting their careers, rugby leadership and even the meaning of life.

Episode 2 (with Freddie Burns and Ollie Sleightholme) will drop on 24 March and Episode 3 (with Danny Care and Ben Earl) on 31 March.

Seen through the eyes of some of Gallagher Premiership Rugby’s brightest stars, Rivals Together demonstrates the importance of sharing your knowledge and experience of leadership with others, and the lessons you’ve learned along the way.”
