A strong line-up of Tottenham Hotspur players – including Heung-Min Son, Tanguy Ndombele, Pierluigi Gollini and Bryan Gil – star in a campaign called ‘Grocery Chants’ for the club’s ultrafast grocery delivery sponsor Getir.
The online campaign sees the Spurs first teamers receive a range of items – from fruit squash, to umbrellas and wraps – delivered in minutes by Getir couriers and each drop is set to the backing vocals of fans singing specially written supporter-style chants about the grocery products and Getir’s speedy delivery.
Created in harness with agency Neverland and spanning the club and sponsor’s digital and social channels, the social spots use Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology to identify in real time households watching sports and then serve the Getir ads across all devices within the home.
“We had a lot of fun creating these films and wanted to show the joy and excitement of the Getir service through some of the club’s players,” commented Getir UK Head Of Marketing Nicholas Casby. “Hopefully fans and customers enjoy these videos and will get involved by engaging with these adverts.”
Neverland Co-Founcer Jon Forsyth added: “This partnership is the perfect way to kick off the new year and what a year it’s going to be for Getir, bringing the joy of groceries in minutes to life in a creative & fun way yet again.”

Launched from 11 January, this campaign follows Getir’s expanded three-year Spurs sponsorship which saw it become the club’s first-ever Official Training Wear partner in September 2021 in a deal that saw the Getir logo adorn the front of Spurs’ training wear.
The company had originally paired up with Tottenham in August 2021 when it ran its first club-linked creative and the expanded deal saw the app-based grocery delivery outfit become an Official Global Partner of the club.
Ultrafast grocery delivery outfit Getir launched in the UK in January 2021 and operates in 20 UK cities, including London, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool and Bristol.
