A week ahead of the reworked London Marathon, sponsor TCS Global rolled out a social spot promoting the ‘Official Virgin Money London Marathon App 2020 – powered by Tata Consultancy Services’ which aims to drive downloads via the App Store or Google Play.
Part of the event’s #ThisRunLondon campaign, this year’s app not only offers the usual marathon tracking and timing functions, but also enables virtual participants to relive the sounds of the traditional live event whilst they run.
Posted on 30 September, the app promo spot rolled out across the brand’s social channels.
